This is an anime that whose concept is so heavy that watching it shouldn't be taken lightly. Babylon anime has toyed with a heavy concept of death and meaning to life which I personally liked it.
A public prosecutor, Seizaki Zen, handles a case related to some false data report about a drug which leads to a raid on some particular pharmaceutical company.

The data that was seized had some suspicious entry's and some other data was also hidden. Soon the case turns into something big and unfolds into very troublesome route.
One of the things that the audience needs to understand that the moral values and the commom sense which was being questioned was quite delicate issue. Hence, the focus here is not on story but plot and how the ideas are being conveyed. So, the ending can be pretty terrible storyline wise but it will make you question the moral values you have been following since a long time.
Still, I will comment on how the story went. First half of anime was practically flawless. In terms of every aspect that could be named, it would be difficult, moreover forceful from my side to name a flaw. The second was very crappily handled. The story progresses in a very awkwardly and realistic manner which doesn't makes a lot of sense. The end gave no closure and rather gave jitters.

This character, Alexander.W.Wood, had the most badass entry and a whole episode was dedicated to it. It was worth it.
I want to say more about this anime but I will mark it spoiler.

The way this anime has dealed with concept of suicide as something which can be good was one of the plus points of this show. Suicide as law was something I too thought of which might be one of the reasons I ~~like~~love this show.
Kaika Itsuki did his part wonderfully till end as anti-hero. As a politician he was prepared for each and every outcome possible and gave them perfect unarguable reply. His readiness to respond to unprecedented situations was too good.
Magase Ai, for me became of the best characters I have seen till now. I don't know if I should call her as anti-hero or villainess or antagonist, I thoroughly enjoyed it to end. Though the character scientifically didn't make a lot of sense but was detestable at some time. I would go as far as to say that the character's role was utilized until the end. I would like end this review simply by saying that don't watch this series lightly unless you are not much of a thinking person.
