
岡野玲子
She is a Japanese manga artist, who debuted with "Esther, Please" in 1982 in the magazine Petit Flower. Okano attended a graphic design school after graduating from high school and has never worked as a manga assistant. In 1989, she won the Shogakukan Manga Award for shoujo for "Fancy Dance." She also received the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2001 for her work on "Onmyouji". She went on to produce a sequel version, "Onmyouji: Tamatebako," in the magazine Melody.
She is married to director Makoto Tezuka.
