Kouji Koizumi
古泉浩司
He was one of Studio Dove's leading animators and the one who designed their logo.
Acknowledged for his work as a key animator on Five Star Stories, for which he was credited posthumously, as well as for his work on Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, a movie where he was in charge for a tenth of the film's animation.
In Five Star Stories he was responsible for multiple cuts in the first half, as well as Knight of Gold's appearance and the battle at the climax of the movie. A notable sequence of his in Char's Counterattack is within the fight between the Nu Gundam and Sazabi towards the end of the film.
Passed away tragically in a traffic accident when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a truck.
