
柳川和樹
Kazuki Yanagawa (柳川 和樹) is a Japanese composer renowned for his contributions to video game music, particularly within the Atelier series developed by GUST Co., Ltd. Born on September 9, 1986, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, Yanagawa has established himself as a prominent figure in the realm of game composition.
He joined Gust after graduating from university. His first work at Gust was Ar Tonelico III along with Ken Nakagawa. His first work for the Atelier series was Atelier Totori, also with Ken Nakagawa.
In June 2011, he left Gust and became a freelancer. He continued to compose music for Gust. In 2014, he returned to Gust's sound team and worked on Ar Nosurge. On February 22nd, 2017, he announced that he retired from Koei Tecmo's Gust.
Now, he works as a freelancer but continues to compose music for the Atelier series, maintaining his musical influence in the franchise’s latest titles.
