I'm a devout Orthodox Christian and long time enjoyer of otaku media.
Some favorites are perennial others are current. Hard to explain.
Below is my aesthetic philosophy via verse;

If art does not at least in part
Inspire the desire to make more art,
If art does not at least in part
Fill the tiny spaces in ones heart,
If art does not at least in part
Teach one the secrets of beauty,
Then who could call it art truly?

I've seen a bunch of shorts that I don't have on my list because it clogs it up.
