Fumetsu no Anata e
An orb is dropped onto Earth by a being who never explains itself. The orb can take the shape of anything that stimulates it, and it cannot die. It becomes a rock, then a wolf, then a boy. The boy gets a name from the only human he meets — Fushi — and discovers that grief and curiosity look the same from the inside. The series follows him through centuries, picking up the lives, languages, and bodies of the people he loses, and slowly cohering into the kind of person who can do something about the predators chasing him.
Human Evolution via stimulation
To Your Eternity is a beautiful, epic adventure about death that I recommend to everyone.
Unforgettable story driven by emotion, humanity, and the idea of mortality.
A great journey about how to find humanity through immortality
A look into mortal humanity through the eyes of an immortal non-human
Becoming someone, starting from nothing
While Fumetsu does peak at its first episode, its main character and its heartwarming tone and themes are enjoyable.
A great concept and highly emotional moments, weakened by some low points
Inconsistent but powerful on a few occasions, it is a good tale about an immortal being learning to be a human
I won't forget that first episode ever. I don't know about the rest... 72/100
