Jolyne Cujoh, daughter of Jotaro from Stardust Crusaders, takes a plea deal she should not have taken and ends up serving fifteen years at Green Dolphin Street Penitentiary in Florida. The deal was engineered. The prison houses a follower of Father Pucci — DIO's quiet ally from decades earlier, planning a continent-scale theological event he has been working toward since the original Joestar saga. Jolyne awakens a Stand called Stone Free, breaks out of solitary, and starts assembling the ragged inmate alliance that becomes the season's main cast: Ermes, Foo Fighters, Anasui, Weather Report.
