Hell’s Paradise Season 2

The second season picks up Gabimaru, Sagiri, and the surviving condemned criminals deeper inside the island. The hermits — the immortal taoist sages who rule the island and have been quietly farming the death-row arrivals — finally drop the pretense of distant interference and take the field. Gabimaru's continuing search for the Elixir of Life and his negotiation with the Tao practitioners who claim to brew it converge with the shogunate's separate mission to verify what the island actually is. The season is the war the previous arc has been building toward, and the question of who is allowed to leave.
