Ace of the Diamond act II -Second Season-

The Seido baseball club's first-year-and-second-year roster, freshly tested through the regional summer tournament, regroups for the Spring Invitational — the second of the high-school baseball year's two televised national tournaments. Sawamura Eijun is now sharing the ace spot with Furuya Satoru, the catcher Miyuki is still solving every game two pitches before it happens, and the Yakushi rivalry continues. The season splits between the Invitational's bracket and the smaller, quieter arc of the third-years preparing to graduate and the underclassmen who are about to inherit the bench they have been earning their way onto.
