Rinne is a girl who cannot see other people's faces. Born into a family whose job it is to exorcise supernatural beings, she sets out on her first mission, but encounters an enemy of a different nature than she expected, and finds herself in peril.
After being saved by a mysterious man named Jugemu, Rinne learns that all worlds, including the one she lives in, known as "Strike Worlds," are under threat.
As she travels through a number of ending worlds with Jugemu, the girl forms a bond with him...
