LIAR GAME

Nao Kanzaki is named after honesty and has lived up to the name to the point of pathology — incapable of bluffing, incapable of suspecting anyone in front of her of bluffing. A black envelope arrives at her apartment with a hundred million yen in cash, a card explaining she has been entered into a game called Liar Game, and an opponent who relieves her of all of it inside a week. To recover the money, Nao recruits the recently paroled fraud genius Shinichi Akiyama. The series is the multi-round tournament that follows, each round a new mechanic engineered for the players to betray each other through.
