Violet Evergarden was raised inside a war as a weapon, and the war ended without anyone explaining what she was supposed to be after. She arrives at the CH Postal Service unable to read most social cues but able to handle a fountain pen like a second skill, and she takes the company's most delicate role: an Auto Memory Doll, the typist clients hire to take feelings they cannot put into words and turn them into letters. The series follows the women and parents she ghost-writes for, and her slow attempt to understand what one final command from her commanding officer was supposed to mean.
A must-watch, anime fan or otherwise.
I cried way too many times. I got a headache from crying. This is an absolute must watch 10/10 unbelievable.
The anime that changed my whole perspective about the word named, "love."
There is no letter that doesn’t have to be delivered and it doesn’t matter.

A visually stunning masterpiece with a deeply relatable emotional journey and rich character narratives
fantastica commedia, 10/10
It's "beautiful", in true sense of the word.
An unfiltered, raw experience of learning what it is to love.
Violet Evergarden is much like the phrase "I love you;" deceivingly simple, and carrying an immense emotional impact.
