Meitantei Conan
Shinichi Kudo is seventeen and already the country's most quoted high-school detective when a pair of Black Organization operatives slip him an experimental poison they expect to dispose of him neatly. The poison instead shrinks his body back to elementary-school size with his memory and reasoning intact. He moves into the household of his childhood friend Ran — whose father is also a detective, of the perpetually unemployed and clueless variety — under the cover identity Conan Edogawa. The series is the running case file of the Black Organization investigation, the weekly murders Conan solves through his ghost-detective routine, and the truth Ran is not yet allowed to know.
