In the aftermath of the Fourth Impact, stranded without their Evangelions, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei find refuge in one of the rare pockets of humanity that still exist on the ruined planet Earth. A new impact is looming on the horizon—one that will prove to be the true end of Evangelion. Finally, the Human Instrumentality Project is set in motion, and WILLE makes one last grueling stand to prevent the Final Impact.

Destroying Rather Than Rebuilding A Franchise
The final movie in this series tries to deliver a similar thesis to End of Eva, but trips over itself too often.
Is there any way to follow up perfection? Well, not like this.
"...mistook the superficial for the essence.”
Hideaki Anno's well intentioned attempt at telling Evangelion's story one more time is, unfortunately, unneeded
Siendo quien otros quieren que seas no lograrás nada.
Incoherent, insulting, and unnecessary: Evangelion's final film just sucks in every imaginable way.
