On a seemingly normal day, Tarutani Makoto, a bookstore clerk, is approached by a high-schooler, Takahashi Kentarou, and is asked for some recommendations for his hospitalised friend. Soon after, the two became closer as the young man made it a point to visit the bookstore every so often. However, how was Tarutani supposed to react when Takahashi reveals to him his secret?
This also includes the story of a refreshing delivery man and a shy book store clerk, as well as a popular bookstore clerk and his bookstore’s clumsy salesperson.
