I've been watching anime on and off for about 20 years, ever since I first watched series like Dragon ball, Yu Yu Hakusho. Big O, FLCL ect back in the late 90s early 00s on Toonami. I would take long breaks and then picked it up a bit more seriously with Attack on Titan and Kill La Kill in 2013 and ever since have had a more casual viewing experience but I decided to finally watch on a more serious basis (as of 2024).

My ratings are a bit weird but they factor in mostly enjoyment followed by more intricate breakdowns of your usual categories like animation quality, voice acting, ost, story and characters. Like with most media I believe that while there are some objective realities when it comes to quality, subjectivity will rule out everything else. For example. a series may be objectively a 6 or 7 out of 10, but if my enjoyment is sky high, I rate it higher
