I want to have a part of me that isn't useless. Something that everyone else can't do, not just living to try and copy other people. I want to get good at something the other kids can't do. To have something I like where no one can beat me. To have something that I can be good at. To have something that I won't be ashamed of.

It’s not the skates that let me jump. It’s not the skating that lets me be special. Back then, it wasn’t the skating that was cool… it was my sister, the skater.
And so now…
I‘m gonna make skating special!
I really am having fun every day. I was sad about what I couldn't do before, but now I'm excited about getting to do it all, and enjoying it. I trust in myself that I can get back up if I fall. I'm chasing my dreams every day. And I love it.
It's not just about beauty or art. Not just about whether or not you can do it. Figure skating is a sport that lets you oversee miracles.
Before I'm done, the world's gonna say that you were born to skate too, okay?
Today, I'll be the one to make a gold medalist out of you!

The small reviews I do in a few of my activity updates I mostly do for myself and don't care if people see/acknowledge them or not, I just like to write down my thoughts on stuff I watch and read (would be nice if you check them anyway ;) )
