Instead, set "the best" at 9.9 and don't move it until something exceeds it. - 9.X is something I really like. As of 2025-04-07, only three things meet this. - 8.X is something pretty good. I like it a lot. - 7.X is a weird range. The lower end is something that I'm generally fine with as media, but the higher end is a lot of what I just enjoy. Weirdly enough, I might even enjoy something lower more than I enjoy something higher purely because I rated poorly. - 6.X is when I start to not like something. I'd go so far as to say that 6.5 and lower is just not enjoyable - 5.X and lower is progressively worse and worse. I might dislike it because it made me uncomfortable, I didn't enjoy it, or it felt entirely lackluster. Looking at you, Rent A Girlfriend.

A lot of shows might have comments on them that are remnants of when I tried a four-category rating system. It was boring as hell, so I stopped doing that.
