What do your ratings mean?

1 - Insultingly bad
This show has no redeeming qualities.

2 - Terrible
This show is absolutely awful. Anything good about it is far outweighed by an ocean of issues.

3 - Bad
This show is heavily flawed.

4 - Subpar
This show is dissatisfactory. Not the worst thing you can watch but overall hard to recommend.

5 - Average
This show is alright. Not particularly good or bad, just kind of "meh".

6 - Decent
This show is a mixed bag. Fans of the genre might enjoy it but overall it doesn't particularly stand out.

7 - Good
This show is solid. Might have noticable flaws but overall you won't regret watching it.

8 - Great
This show is really good. Might not blow you away but is really enjoyable.

9 - Amazing
This show is excellent. Its flaws are negligible and you won't find many better shows in the genre.

10 - Essential
This show is a masterpiece. The pinnacle of its genre and an absolute must watch.

What do you consider for your ratings?

A show has to be both entertaining and of decent quality to get a high rating. Trashy but fun and well made but unremarkable shows both won't get a particularly great rating.
