Would describe myself as a casual among otaku but someone who's probably seen more anime than the average person by now. My weakened connection with anime now fully restored ever since my dive back into the medium back in 2021.
Oh yeah.. I'm an artist and a Writer.. Don't do either of those nearly as often as I used to but.. I guess that's worth mentioning? Idk lel.

https://discord.gg/WzDG3YRJrDStories I lean more towards romance dramas, shounen battle manga and the occasional comedy. Also into psychological stories.. Usually about loners or outcasts of society.. That sort of thing.
My scoring system (probably not strictly followed lel.. Especially if its an adult work..that scoring system is private >///// 0):
1 - 3 Something that either left no impression on me, frustrated me or in general was something I didn't really care for. More often than not if something is rated this low its because I found it really boring with no enjoyment to be had from it whatsoever, other times it's because a lot of things about the show in question just frustrated me making the experience of the show very unpleasant.
4 - 5 - Average, not something I would dismiss instantly but not something I consider that great either. Likely something id watch for mild entertainment that isn't too demanding of my attention.
6 - 7 Getting there, good but didn't blow me away.. Either that or its something I recognise as good but may not necessarily be my type of thing. May be something that I like but the flaws and things I dislike about it outnumber the things I appreciate it...either that or the enjoyment I derived from it was just above average.
8 - An overall good time. Very little to dislike about it but not quite a masterpiece. It's pros outweigh its cons and I wasnt underwhelmed at all, but it may not have touched me in any personal way.
9 - Very good, leaving an impression be it through giving me a lot to think about or leaving some kind of influence\inspiration in my own creative works.
10 - Fantastic. Actually managed to not only leave similar impressions as what a 9 would, but also truly made me feel something by the time I reached the end.
A dropped show isn't always an indicator of no interest or dislike, but more often than not it is a show that I either found very boring or disliked so much I couldn't bare to watch it to completion... Which is rare for me so if a show makes that cut that means I found it especially bad.
