Though I update both my MAL and AniList frequently, AniList is my main list. Whenever I watch shows, I give individual ratings to each episode AND each main character, and tally them up to help me arrive at my overall scores. I have a massive Google Spreadsheet where I keep track of all the anime shows on my list (including an order of which animes I plan to watch next), all my anime character/cast/episode/story/show rankings, and much more. I really like using decimal places (I use 3 decimal points on my own Google Spreadsheet), which is why I prefer using AniList.

Generally, I tend to have more critical/picky taste than most and have many unconventional takes.
