I'd seen some anime. I watched Cowboy Bebop and liked Studio Ghibli. I wouldn't have necessarily said that I could be classified as a fan or anything.
Then came Persona. My friend insisted I try a Persona game, being a Final Fantasy fan from way back. Sure, I thought, this seems a little different and outside of what I'm familiar with; but, what the hell, I'll give it a go. I bought Persona 5. RIP sleep schedule. From there, I played Persona 3 Portable and then Persona 4 Golden came out. Around this time, I heard there were anime adaptations, so I tried this "Crunchyroll" my friend kept talking about. I should have known from his sinister laugh...
Then he offered to let me download some stuff from his Humble Bundle accounts, and there was this odd manga series in there called Domestic Girlfriend. I had to know what that was all about. Read the whole thing in a week. Then I joined some discussions about it. Withdrawal set in, and someone suggested some other series that might scratch that same itch.
Hey man.. (scratches neck).. you got any more of that romance shonen?
