Hi, I'm lezvie.
I begun watching anime a few years ago, and decided to keep a list of it. I've gone through all the phases of the average new otaku: At first i was devouring anime, watching multiple shows a day during the pandemic. Then, after I watched EVERYTHING that picked my interest, I begun watching the seasonals, while watching other shows in the meantime. Now the burnout came. I no longer watch 25 shows per season, i can only put my focus on 5 to 10 of them. Although I have over 500 watched anime, i am in no way a hardcore otaku.
I will still pick up a lot of new shows every season, but I am giving them the 1 to 3 episode test. Still, I usually avoid some genres, like sports, isekai, and shounen anime, with exceptions, of course.
My favorite genres are romance and comedy. I just can't get enough romcom in my life, and after watching almost every romcom anime, I expanded my horizons to manga and novels. Nowadays, I am keeping up with about 40 releasing manga, and probably all of them are romances. I know that sounds crazy, but when you realize most manga are on a monthly schedule, you will understand that i read 1 to 3 chapters a day, which is pretty feasible.
I usually keep notes on things i've read and watch, so if you are interested in my scores and opinion for a specific thing, you are welcome to look it up!
Now, i used to have a rating metric, but i found myself ignoring it. It was way too much trouble, and i usually go back to a show and change it''s score after enough time passed for my judgement settle. What i am trying to say is, don't take my scores too seriously, because they are way too subjective. If you really wan't to know what i thought about a show, look up my notes, or hit me up, and i will answer!
