I watch pretty much anything, but overall hate action and strongly prefer drama.
I suck at AMQ, but it's still fun.
I write some amount of comments on most things I've watched recently in the watched episode activities of the show. These are usually made with high detail in reference to specific things that happened in an episode, though, so I don't know how interesting they are to read. I don't care much for like spam (and turned off like notifications for activities), but I like it when people like those activity comments since it lets me know people actually read them.
My favorite characters seem to be shyer (less outspoken) people. They often have some random quirks that rarely show up, which always makes me chuckle when they actually do. Oh, and the sort of person who seems innocent but really isn't (usually associated with little sisters, for some reason).

"Completed ova": If the entry has <100min total runtime. I also hide an entry from the main list if it has <80min runtime; this means they do have a bit of overlap.
"Watched long ago": Something I watched a long time ago (~2018 or earlier), but don't expect me to know any of the details. Unless it has a rewatch on it, since then I watched it again at some point.
"Good unpopular anime": A list of anime that I watched and like, but there's a decent chance that you haven't heard of it before even if you watch a lot of slice of life.
"Split by volume": Stories that should really all be in one entry but aren't, so I have to categorize them this way on my list instead.
"Read to latest": Ongoing stuff that I read up to the end of. Categorized as paused if I'm not sure if I care to check for updates or I think it'll take a long time for another update, dropped if I'm considering not continuing, completed if I doubt it'll get further updates (though then I usually just don't include it in read to latest at all), and reading otherwise.
"Short side story": Has a similar purpose as "Completed ova" but I'm a lot less rigorous about it and what ends up here is sorta just whatever. Has no overlap with other lists.
"Wishlist": Stuff I want to read but am currently holding off as it isn't translated enough / at all.

\#queue: The stuff on planning I plan to watch very soon, seasonals excluded. Sometimes a show skips the queue. Generally the queue is made by picking a random already-aired element from planning.
\#other: Stuff I'm tracking on anilist despite how it's not actually on the database, typically web novels when a light novel or manga exists.

Light novels > Anime > Manga. I notice that I have too much trouble differentiating different characters in manga, and I love the extra element of choice that a good visual novel has.
I'm trying to read light novels if it's the source instead of watching the anime, though I don't always do that (and if the story is good I tend to want to watch the anime anyways), just because of how much I like the format. (Though only if an english translation actually exists and goes at least as far as the anime.)
My rating scale involves looking at nearby ratings and slotting it between a show I liked more than it and a show I liked less than it. I'm currently trying to keep the average below 68.

White Album 2 | 99 | 02-10-2022 | incomplete | [intro chapter complete - nov 1] It turns out that I either don't like NSFW scenes that much, I wasn't feeling it at the time, or it's just not written that well. Not sure which, but either way, I'm considering speeding through the next one. It's hard to choose which character I like most when the story is written in a way that all of them are people that you love. I can't really many any plot comments, though, since it's relatively straightforward and anything I have to say wouldn't get to the essence of why it's good anyway. [koharu route - jan 1] I wish I would watch a romance anime with a plot like this. The way everyone still respects each other despite being bitter, the putting on a brave face even though you hate what's happening, intense sex scenes to forget your current issues... I know oreimo s2 did something similar, but this just has a way more bitter tone to it. And that's good, because it makes you feel tense during the scene.
If My Heart Had Wings | 75 | idk | 10-02-2019 | Date according to steam, which means it might not be accurate. I have a mild interest in airplanes and so actually understand a lot of the theory behind it. Seeing a flying-centric VN like this one is really cool because of that. Yoru best girl.
Saya no Uta | 68 | 24-04-2021 | 25-04-2021 | I was acquainted enough with hentai tropes (...though not from actual hentai) by this point that nothing on that front was too shocking. It suffers a lot from trying to go for shock value in a lot of scenes, but the story is still good.
