My scoring scale is basically 5 - 10, with 7.5/10 being the mid point. Most seasons, I watch 90% of seasonals from the start, and drop those that fail to hold my attention. I also don't score shows I've seen less than 3 episodes of, leading to my average score trending higher than the "midpoint" of 7.5, and very few shows being scored lower than 7 (since I likely dropped it early).

If I were to break it down, it might look something like:
0-5: Absolute trash , not worth watching whatsoever
6: Quite a number of flaws, only watch if you know what you're getting into
7: Slightly below average but watchable
7.5: Mid, average, not good but not bad either. Some shows here can be recommended
8: Above average. These are solid shows that can easily be recommended despite some flaws
8.5: Great shows with very few flaws. Make up the bulk of non-mainstream recommendations
9: Usually one of the best in their genre and will likely appeal to anyone looking for a show in that genre
10: Masterpiece. My absolute favorite shows and will get my recommendation every time
