The second season runs the manga deeper into the En family — the cigar-smoking sorcerer kingdom whose lower ranks Kaiman has been digesting for months — and into the Cross-Eyes, the cult around the Hole's most powerful psychic, whose interest in Kaiman has been quietly assembling since the first arc. The season tracks Kaiman, Nikaido, and the En family across the same case from three different sides.
