Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu
Subaru Natsuki walks out of a convenience store and into another world without preamble — no contract, no quest log, no goddess to explain the rules. He gets jumped in an alley within the hour and saved by a silver-haired half-elf named Emilia, who is running her own errands and has no time to babysit him. Then Subaru dies, and wakes up at the convenience store again. The series follows what happens when a powerless modern teenager is given the ability to rewind time at the cost of dying every time, and the increasingly costly loops he runs to keep Emilia alive.
Not your typical Isekai/Shounen. It's Better.

A Deep Despair-Inducing Psychological Driven Story with Tons of Depth. Everyone Ought to Watch at one Point
Despite its few faults, Re:Zero proves to be my favorite anime of all time.
Come for the cute maids, stay for the crushing psychological trauma!
An isekai with production value AND a plot to carry it. Not perfect, but for isekai, you'll struggle to find better.
A sloppy review to show how much I had to try and get through this show to get to the gold. Even when the show is peak.
My dad watched Re:Zero with me... Here are his thoughts.
Re:Zero is a rare instance of creativity and depth in the isekai genre.
