CLANNAD
Tomoya Okazaki has been coasting through his third year of high school since his mother died — fights, skipped classes, a basketball career he ended with his own shoulder when his father broke it during a drunk argument. He meets Nagisa Furukawa at the gate of the school: a year older than him, repeating the grade after a year out sick, talking softly to herself to work up the courage to walk inside. Their friendship anchors the rest of the show, which moves through Nagisa's attempt to revive the drama club and through the smaller lives of every classmate Tomoya stops to actually look at.
Personally one of the most enjoyable SoL experiences that I have seen, even in Season 1.
Clannad is a great and sentimental anime for those sad days. Or, really any other day.
A Beautiful story, overshadowed by its successor...
Clannad sovittaa lähdeteoksen hyvin mutta ei erinomaisesti
rough beginning but overall a really great show
my thoughts on Clannad vol. 1 and vol. 2. the good and the bad
Good sensations, hilarious, soft pain, dumb children!
Very sweet. Fun, enjoyable characters, with some surprisingly touching moments. Never quite excelled for me though
Typical yet ethereal, juvenile yet beautiful.
My review of the anime Clannad
