Okabe Rintarou rents a cluttered Akihabara apartment and calls it the Future Gadget Laboratory. The gadgets are mostly broken; the lab members are his sweet childhood friend Mayuri and a hacker named Daru who lives on energy drinks. The microwave that text-messages bananas turning into green sludge is just a joke until they notice that the messages it sends arrive in the past. From there it is one cautious experiment, then another, then a string of consequences that nobody saw coming — a dead body, a missing childhood, and the realization that going back is not the same as undoing.
Steins;Gate broke me, and I love that.
Descending into madness, a great mystery series shows Okabe's discovery of the wonder and terror of time travel.
Steins;Gate: the perfect anime
great characters, great story, great plot twists, great music, great voice acting, everything perfect
The review you didn't know you needed. My thoughts on why I think Steins;Gate is given so much praise/loved by many
Steins;Gate - Transcending the medium
Steins Gate deserves it's spot as one of the greatest Anime of all time
“Tal como um espaço vazio numa pintura, um tempo em que nada aconteceu tem seu propósito”
L'anime che più si avvicina alla perfezione che io abbia mai visto. Un opera che non potete non vedere.
Great and complex story, very deep characters stories and feelings. Must watch, completely.
