• I rate my anime in Tiers (10 = Peak etc) because maintaining and upkeeping the "this anime>this anime" for 300+ anime hurts my brain and takes away from the fun of watching anime knowing I'm gonna want to smash my head against a wall figuring out where I'm putting it.

Date A Live is not a "echi harem" anime...It's a complex, multi weavered, complex story that has multiple moving parts, with an ever evolving protagonist at the heart of the story who struggles through hell to save the Earth and his companions. It's one of the most thrilling experiences available to the human mind with fantastically produced meccha fights, enthralling dog fights and some incredible sword fights. It's an example of what the human mind working at all 100% potential can complete when a person reaches such a high level of genius and masterful writing, and should be a case study for all of us to live by. Never give up, always reach out a helping hand and most importantly, Do what's right. Not only should all mankind strive to be Date A Live, but should embrace it and live it out for the rest of your lives. So i return to the original statement- No, Date a Live is not an "Ecchi harem"...Date A Live is a lifestyle, Date A Live is peak shonen, Date A Live is peak character writing, Date A Live is peak romance, Date A Live is mecha, Date A Live is everything that you need in life, Date A Live is PEAK FICTION and most importantly...Date A Live is Love........
