6.0-10.0: Watch these shows. These are all pretty good
5.0-5.9: Whatever.
0-4.9: Don't watch these.

10 (Masterpiece/Outstanding) - These anime are the best of the best. Whether they truly are flawless pieces of media or they're personal favorites I cannot get enough of, these are the pinnacle of anime that should be viewed by fans of any genre. When someone comes to me for any recommendation, these will always be first.

9 (Amazing/Exemplary) - Phenomenal anime. They just barely don't hit the peak of premier to me, but they're damn near close. These anime have much to love and very little to hate. Like the anime scored a 10, these are at the top of the recommendation list. Fans of any genre can find enjoyment in any of these shows, which truly is a testament to the quality of these anime.

8 (Great/Strong) - Incredible. Many see an 8 as a harsh score (which I really don't get), but an 8 is still damn good. The positives easily outweigh the negatives and it's not hard to see why many, myself included, consider these shows to be top-tier. It's missing that zing to make it a masterpiece, but in many instances, being "great" is still a title many would want.

7 (Good/Solid/Memorable) - It can't be understated that these shows are still good. They have a lot going for them and if you give them the time, can be anime that stick in your mind for years. They just are clearly missing something or fail to execute something to be exceptional, or even just great. They just need something to lift it a little.

6 (Fair/Decent) - Despite the fact that these anime aren't even close to being perfect shows, they still have enough substance to them for me to recommend watching them. As stated, they truly are "decent" shows. They definitely have an audience. I'm just not a part of it.

5 (Mediocre/Average) - It's really a toss up on if these shows are actually ones worth your time, or are just better off being skipped entirely. So to prevent this dilemma, they sit here; a perfectly average show where their strengths are counterbalanced by their faults.

4 (Poor/Subpar/Below Average) - We get to the point where I'm not going to recommend watching these anime. While a 4 is far from the worst, it has failed at being even average. While inoffensive and subpar, these are the anime that can often times be more forgettable than those with lower scores. So is that a good thing?

3 (Deplorable/Bad) - These are just flat out bad. No other words can be used to describe these shows other than uninspired, unmemorable, and terrible.

2 (Shit/Abysmal) - You could argue that many anime with this score could potentially be a 1, but whether it be for something actually not terrible keeping it from being a 1, or something inside me that prevents me from doing so, the anime that are basically the slums of media fall here. It, somehow, can get even worse. I hope that the creators and fans alike are ashamed. I will judge heavily.

1 (Unfathomable/Pathetic) - How do these shows get greenlit? These anime really shouldn't exist, and I remember them years later for all the wrong reasons. Nothing about these anime have anything positive going for it, and they really are the definition of "bottom of the barrel."
