10/10 -Loved the series. The animation quality is consistent throughout the series; colors are fantastic and lovely. Characters and plot are highly engaging, and everything feels like a masterpiece. Most importantly, my enjoyment was always high from start to finish.
9/10 - I really loved the series, but there was a small aspect that held it back from being perfect, perhaps a brief dip in animation quality or a part of the story that I didn't like. The colors were lovely, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience overall.
8/10 - I liked the series a lot, but it had some noticeable flaws that kept it from being great. Either the animation was generally solid but had occasional inconsistencies, colors were appealing but not standout. The characters and plot were engaging, though they might have leaned on familiar tropes or lacked a bit of depth. Still, my enjoyment was high, and it left a positive impression overall.
7/10 - The series was enjoyable but didn’t fully click with me. The Animation quality was serviceable but had clear fluctuations, colors were decent but didn’t pop. Characters or plot felt average potentially predictable or underdeveloped making the story feel functional rather than memorable. My enjoyment was moderate, and while I don’t regret watching it, it didn’t leave a strong mark.
6/10 - The series was passable but underwhelming. My enjoyment was inconsistent, often due to a bland or overly predictable plot, one-dimensional characters, or animation that felt lackluster, like low-budget effects or stiff movements. Colors were okay but forgettable. It had moments that kept me watching, but the flaws were hard to overlook.
Anything below 6/10 is bad for me, while 7/10 and above is generally considered good. I prioritize enjoyment most of the time compared to the other factors I listed, so take my rating system with a grain of salt.
For example, an anime like Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie received a 6/10 from me. I found the anime pretty predictable after just one episode. Even though it had great colors and animation, the plot's predictability ruined my perspective early on, and my enjoyment took a dive.
