Hello! My name is Cole - or Decco as a nickname. Have been watching anime for as long as I can remember, and I'm super excited to have a place to rate my watches!

About me

A few things about me and this community: My first animes ever were Fullmetal Alchemist (2003), and Berserk (1997). I watched them with my brother when I was like, three. I know, best big brother ever, right? My first manga was the Zelda mangas, but I guess my first real manga was the Fullmetal Alchemist mangas too. I then migrated from them to things like Naruto, and worked my way up through the years from things like Akira, to my all-time favorite, Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I'm 24, gay, and love things like horror movies, and tons of different types of anime, and have a particular soft spot for Berserk - cause Guts is hot af - and BL. Specifically, my favorite is Seaside Stranger. Mio is cute and I love him. I'm sorry if my reviews aren't the best. I was recommended to come out of my comfort zone and anxiety from my trauma in therapy and suggested to try reviewing these. They're not professional by any means, and I may go off on tangents, and may even be a bit biased toward some that made an impact on me, but I'll try my absolute best!

My favorite characters include: Guts, Mio Chibana, Kaneda Shotaro, Kaworu Nagisa, Yuusuke Urameshi, Inosuke Hashibira, and Vegeta.

My personal rating system:

10: An absolute masterpiece.
9: Freaking amazing, highly recommend it.
8: Very good, I'd rewatch it!
7: Good.
6: Decent - had some fun points.
5: Meh, probably wouldn't rewatch it.
4: Not really all that good.
3: Didn't like it, but it had one or two good things.
2: Absolutely horrible, I'd never rewatch it.
1: Complete and utter trash, never watch.

I base my ratings on some key features: the story, the animation/visuals, the soundtrack, how good the characters are, how it made me feel, and the amount of heart that went into making it. I'm not the best reviewer, but they're all my personal preferences!
