The Scouts reached the sea four years ago, and the world they found beyond it doesn't look anything like the one they grew up assuming was the whole map. The island of Paradis is now a strategic nightmare for the global power of Marley, which is preparing for an invasion. Eren has disappeared. The Final Season opens on the other side — the Warriors of Marley, the children training to inherit their titan powers, and the cold-eyed boy Gabi who has been raised to believe the people of Paradis are the monsters. The war Eren was born for is starting.
