Koe no Katachi
Shouya Ishida was the boy who made the new transfer student's first weeks unbearable — the one who pulled out Shouko Nishimiya's hearing aids and threw them in the river, the one whose class turned on him when the bullying came to light. Six years later he is the outcast, his only plan a goodbye letter and a final apology. He finds Shouko, hands her a notebook, and discovers that absolutely none of his sins have been forgiven yet. The film follows their slow attempt to know each other as the people they have become.
It's a crime this movie didn´t win an Oscar

I don't think I have ever cried harder during a movie in my entire life. This movie has taken me by the throat
A modern day masterpiece that grapples with the importance of redemption, depression, and self love.

Shouya Ishida. That name alone is perhaps the greatest reason why I fell in love with Koe no Katachi.
A breathtaking masterpiece about redemption, trauma and coping with it.
I wish I had to analyse this for English instead of Shakespeare... The life lessons are plentiful.
