A slightly flawed, but very evocative starting point of a truly incredible studio.
A single, horrifically glaring flaw isn't enough to stop this being the best arc yet
Has some cool ideas, but ultimately falls a bit flat compared to previous arcs
Takes what made Red, Green and Blue great and amps it up a bit
An ideal wacky comedy anime with a lot of heart behind its madness
A hectic thrill ride with a structure that simultaneously helps and hinders the experience.
A series densely packed with insight, but one that isn't quite able to convey a lot of it to its fullest potential.
A different take on Pokemon, but a very welcome one
A love letter to the creative experience and all its ups and downs.
Finding pure joy in even the most mundane things
A beautiful display of the art of escalation
Really beautiful scenery but with writing that falls immensely flat
A cool collection of supernatural stories that still feels distinctly Jojo
The incredible presentation and visuals help distract from some larger flaws, but not enough for me to love this.
A tense battle of the minds that's fun to watch even without knowing how to play Mahjong
A remarkable adaptation of an utter classic, even if it starts slow and could have ended better.
While a bit slow in the middle, Mind Game is a fantastic movie that's equal parts mind bending and profound.
A trope filled, largely forgettable film that does a lot of those tropes well, but not much else
Take everything amazing about Evangelion and turn it up to 11, and you've basically got the perfect ending to a series.
Considered a masterpiece for a reason. Has giant robots and depression, what else do you need?
Kaiji's 2nd season is almost as tense as its 1st, but the final arc's slow pace drags it out a bit.
A show so amazingly tense that it makes a tissue box the most stressful sight ever.
