Hori Kyouko is the kind of student the rest of class agrees has it figured out: top of the grade, charisma, sharp humor. Miyamura Izumi is the quiet boy at the back with bad bangs and worse luck. None of their classmates know that Hori comes straight home to keep house for her brother and parents who work late, and none of them know that Miyamura, under the long sleeves, is wallpapered with piercings and tattoos. They run into each other at the door of Hori's house and quietly become each other's only place to relax.
Exceptionally fun slice-of-life comedy that mixes humor and emotion, topped off with excellent voice acting
Summary : Good anime, worth the watch. Might seem a generic high school anime but it has it's own perfect elements.
Romance that made me feel, laugh and think
overall great show with great characters but the ending made me want way more
An AMAZING romance story, but a show trying to fit too much for too many characters in not enough time
A heartfelt slice-of-life anime with realistic characters, strong voice acting, and beautiful animation!
A leading example in the subgenre of comfort anime
Horimiya proves that solid and impactful writing will always be better than cheap gimmicks.
Very great show. For the short time it took me to complete the story, I felt like part of the cast. Very good. Do watch
Horimiya deserves more respect for being the mature, realistic romance sought by many.
