SK∞
Reki has been racing in S — an illegal night skateboarding tournament held inside an abandoned Okinawan mine — for as long as he can keep his parents from finding out. The series opens on his attempt to drag a transfer student named Langa down the mountain for fun. Langa, who has never been on a skateboard but has spent his life snowboarding the slopes of Canada, takes one run and discovers he is preternaturally good. The series is Reki and Langa's friendship and rivalry, the regulars of S who decide they want a piece of Langa, and the price S keeps quietly extracting from its winners.
A gloriously queer romp; SK8 is one hundred percent loud, proud, and super memorable.
i think i'm too emotionally attached to this show.
Tony Hawk has been kinda quiet since SK8 the Infinity dropped...
“Anytime, anywhere, under any circumstance. It’s the best. No limits, only possibility. Skating is infinite.”
Sk8ing with the bois
It has small writing problems, but the entertainment you get from watching overrules it by A MILE.
Some highschoolers and grown-ups and everyone (mostly boys) learn what it means to skate.
Your good ol' sports Shonen except its skateboarding
Why did they do that to my boys
Sk8ter bois who I hate to say "See you later" to.
